Biography
Lacie Alt is a doctoral student in the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University. Her research interests include extremism, violent crime, and offender-focused criminology. She is particularly interested in how psychological, social, and environmental factors interact over time to shape pathways into severe violence, including homicide and mass violence, and how violent ideas develop and progress into behavior.
