Ryan holds a B.A. in English Literature and Film Studies from Michigan State University, where he is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Criminal Justice. In his first year of graduate study, he has published multiple articles in Q1 criminology journals. His research interests include victimization, particularly the aftermath of victimization and the decision victims take and technology-facilitated crime, specifically identity theft and cyberstalking.
