The School of Criminal Justice would like to send a warm welcome to our new Director Mary Finn. Dr. Finn has been a professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Georgia State University and brings a rich research background in criminal justice policy with a focus on domestic violence, human trafficking, and community supervision. She has served as the Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness and Acting Director of Institutional Research at Georgia State and participated in the Harvard University program on Performance Assessment in Higher Education and the Bryn Mawr College Summer Institute for Women in Higher Education Administration. Among other attractions, Mary is drawn to MSU’s rich history in criminal justice, to our strengths in criminal justice policy-relevant research, and to our interdisciplinary approach to research and education.
Dr. Mary Finn was featured in MSU Today on January 9, 2015 announcing her as new Director.
We are excited to start a new journey with Dr. Finn!
