On receiving the award, Burden says “The Division of Victimology Graduate Student Travel Award will help support my attendance at this year’s American Society of Criminology (ASC) annual conference in Washington, D.C. I am grateful to the DOV for selecting me to receive the award as it will help defray my out-of-pocket costs, allowing me to focus on attending the conference, presenting my research, networking, and learning.”

Congratulations Makayla!
