January 11, 2023

A team of researchers from the School of Criminal Justice (CJ), Department of Human Development & Family Studies (HDFS), and School of Social Work (SW) received funding from the MSU College of Social Science as part of the Strategic Partnership Grants Program to improve understanding of community-based violence reduction and neighborhood safety.

Dr. Jennifer Cobbina-Dungy (CJ), Dr. Carole Gibbs (CJ), Dr. Emilie Smith (HDFS) and Dr. Kendall Morris (SW) will be working with community leaders to understand and reduce community-based violence and improve neighborhood safety. This project underscores the commitment of the School of Criminal Justice to diversity, equity, and inclusion as we continue to build an inclusive environment for all.
