Biography
Matthew Almanza is a 5th year Ph.D. student in the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University. His research interests include weapon carrying and weapon violence, the theory of the Code of the Street, youth offending, and self-protection. He completed his undergraduate degree in psychology at Purdue University in 2016 before being accepted to the doctoral program at Michigan State University.
