Dr. Coffman is a research associate professor at the Methodology Center at Penn State. She received her PhD in Quantitative Psychology from the University of North Carolina and is recognized for her expertise in causal inference with additional expertise in propensity matching, SEM and other modeling approaches. She conducts longitudinal analyses of large data sets and is currently conducting these analyses with continuously streaming data, one of the emerging areas in Big Data analytics. Dr. Coffman just received a NIH career award for her Big Data research.
