Professor William Terrill Quoted in a Recent Boston Globe Article

People-Terrill-WilliamIn an  article in the Boston Globe entitled “Policing specialists defend officers who fatally shot terror suspect”, Professor William Terrill addressed whether the police officers could have used a less lethal method, saying “you’re putting yourself at a potential risk, as well as other bystanders.” He was further quoted “As soon as a suspect presents an imminent deadly force threat–and a knife within that range would constitute such a threat–the police are within their rights and within the bounds of the law, to use deadly force.”
