Jina is a doctoral student in the Criminal Justice program. Her research interests include intimate partner violence and violence against women, with a particular focus on help-seeking behavior among abused women. She is especially interested in exploring the factors that lead to victims’ decisions to leave abusive situations and seek help. Ultimately, she aspires to identify effective ways to assist victims of intimate partner violence so that they have access to formal and informal resources.
She earned her M.A. and B.A. in Police Administration from Kyonggi University, South Korea.
