Dr. Gibbs Named Interim Associate Dean for Graduate Studies

Dean Brent Donnellan announced Dr. Gibbs’ new role last week. She will gradually transition to this role until August 16th. Dr. Gibbs is currently serving as the Acting Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the College of Social Science. 

“It is an honor to be named Interim Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and I am excited to support graduate education, which I consider essential to addressing complex challenges around the globe” said Dr. Gibbs. 

In addition to her roles in the College of Social Science, Dr. Gibbs research interests include understanding street and elite crime from a systems perspective and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
