Professor David Carter was a featured speaker at the National Public Safety Forum: Policing and Community Relations held in Indianapolis sponsored by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. Dr. Carter’s presentation focused on the lessons learned from the police response to the demonstrations in Ferguson, Missouri following the shooting of Michael Brown.
